Biometry

Biometry is a highly accurate non-invasive automated measurement of the structure of the eye. Biometry measures the curve of the cornea (keratometry), the depth of the anterior chamber and the length of the eye, and uses this information to calculate the correct power of a lens implant required for successful.
This calculation is necessary to ensure the eye sees well following cataract surgery and to determine the refraction of the eye. Biometry is required to give different options for lens choices in surgery.
